Los Cabos is nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez, at the tip of the Baja California Peninsula. Beaches

Medano Beach is one of the most swimmable beaches in Cabo, offering easy access to plenty of water activities like kayaking, parasailing, and jet skiing. Playa Santa Maria and Playa Chileno are some of the best places for snorkeling—the water is very calm and you can see plenty of fish.

Los Cabos is home to a seemingly endless number of excellent restaurants, ranging from stunning fine dining establishments to charming, authentic eateries.

The Medano beach area is known for its innovative culinary scene, overflowing with elegant beachside bars and restaurants. An Inspirato favorite is El Farallon; boasting a secluded cliffside location overlooking the Pacific, you can hear the waves crash as you peruse the ocean-to-table menu featuring the daily catch from local fisherman.

Another favorite is Manta, an intimate and artful space overlooking Cabo’s famous rocky formation, El Arco. Manta’s menu features sophisticated, yet casual, Baja-inspired dishes made up of local ingredients sourced from the region.

For a unique and immersive dining experience, a trip to Flora Farms is worth the 30-minue drive from Cabo. The organic farm in the foothills of San Jose is an ideal setting for a leisurely lunch or dinner. It’s award-winning restaurant, Flora Fields Kitchen, features dishes made entirely from ingredients grown on the property or at the larger farm a few miles away. Guests can make an afternoon out of perusing the grocery store, ice cream cart, and gorgeous grounds.

Culture

To get a taste of the local culture and art scene, head to San Jose for its Thursday evening art walk. While exploring the galleries lining the cobblestone streets of the city's historic Distrito del Arte, you can sip wine, sample cheese, and interact with some of the top artists and gallery owners in the area. Afterward, meander through the art district’s bars and restaurants, like the Baja Brewing Company and La Lupita Taco & Mezcal.

Golf & Outdoor Adventure

With 18 courses in the area, Los Cabos dominates the golf scene in Latin America. Several of the world’s best golf course architects have laid plans in Los Cabos—golfers can choose from six championship courses, including Cabo del Sol’s Ocean Course designed by Jack Nicklaus.
